Fingertip to Floor1 :
1 Fingertip to floor measurement on Left Hand for a Right Handed Golfer. This is standing up strait and tall at attention with your fingers fully extended to the floor. It may be easier to get some assistance to taking this measurement, as you will tend to lower your hand as you look down to measure.

NOTE : David Dugally has been selling, fitting, or designing golf clubs for over 17 years and one of the Seven Sacred Secrets he has learned, is that people with an earlier release do better with more flexible clubs than their swing speed would suggest, and vice versa; players with a later release do better with stiffer clubs than their swing speed would suggest. Release occurs immediately after your wrists un-hinge on your downswing. If you are fighting a hook and your release is early (sooner than belt high), go with a flexible shaft. If you are leaving it to the right and your release is late (past belt high), go with a very stiff shaft. If you hitting it pretty strait and your release is ‘standard’ (about belt high), then go with a standard flex based on your swing speed.
