Vector III Fairway Woods

The new Vector III fairway woods are not only beautiful and easy to hit but they feature some extraordinary design benefits, for example virtually all other fairway woods have the deepest part of the face at the center and then taper down to the toe and heel, we know that MIS hits are generally hi toe and low heel so the face height of these new heads is 34 mm in the heel, 35 mm in the center and 36 mm in the toe, we gave these heads a strong toe to allow for more hitting surface and a higher center of gravity in this area. Please see the diagram that illustrates the typical strike zone ellipse.

We also use this same face height from the 3 wood thru the 9 wood as opposed to making the face shallower as the woods go up in loft, making the face shallower serves to lower the center of gravity which is not nessacary because there is enough loft to generate height, these higher lofted fairway woods such as the 5, 7, and 9 are often used on par three's with a tee and out of fluffy rough where a little more face heigth will help prevent pop ups and hitting under the ball.

The 3 wood comes in the standard loft of 15* as well as a 13* model for players who generate excessive club head speed, AND is also available in a 17* model for players who have difficulty getting a high soaring shot from traditional 3 woods, this is important because for these players to hit a dependable shot off the deck they resort to a 4 or 5 wood and with the shorter shaft length sacrifice needed distance, some have even tried using a 5 wood head made at a 3 wood length but this results in excessive swing weight and is not the answer.

All Vector III fairway woods are made to the tightest tolerances in the industry by an ISO 9000 approved foundry and each head is individually inspected with the actual deviations from tolerance if any as specified by us is written on each head to guarantee performance.
